Arch in an iceberg. View of an unusual iceberg, locked in frozen sea ice. During a thaw, an ice arch has formed in the iceberg. A later freeze has covered the sea surface with ice and has stabilised the arch. The main body of the iceberg is probably complete below the surface, so the arch is simply a hole in a much larger 'berg. Photographed near Greenland.
