Antarctic iceberg. Icebergs are floating chunks of ice that have broken away from an ice sheet or a glacier. Most of the mass of an iceberg is below the water. It may weigh millions of tonnes. This is a tabular (flat-topped) iceberg. Photographed in the Southern Ocean surrounding Antarctica.
