Antarctic icebergs and seabirds in mist. Icebergs are floating chunks of ice that have broken away from an ice sheet or a glacier. Most of the mass of an iceberg is below the water, and it may weigh hundreds of tonnes. Icebergs are shipping hazards, especially in misty weather. Photographed near Rothera Research Station, Antarctic Peninsula.
