Ice structures on a frozen lake. The grey, round ice structures form as the lake water freezes. The white structures form in a similar way to frost: when the air is saturated with water vapour and the temperature drops below freezing (zero degrees Celsius), ice crystals form on exposed surfaces. Photographed in the Netherlands.
