Granite shore. The action of waves over countless millennia has shaped the hard granite into smooth sculpted formations. Granite is a rock formed from molten rock (magma) that has come from below the Earth's surface. Rocks of such magmatic origin are called igneous rocks. Photographed at Ploumanach, northern Brittany, France.
