Kerimasi volcano. Aerial photograph of the extinct volcano Kerimasi. This volcano forms part of the Crater Highlands in the Rift Valley in northern Tanzania. It was one of the few volcanoes on Earth to produce carbonatitic lava. Carbonatitic materials contains more than 50% carbonates.
