Rock strata in a cliff face at Hunstanton, Norfolk. The top layer of rock is a pale chalky boulder clay, typical of East Anglia. This sits on top of a thin layer of sub-New Red Sandstone, the colour of which has percolated down into the older sandstone beneath.
