Pebbles. A collection of smooth, coloured pebbles. Most of these pebbles are derived from igneous rock - rock that rose from deep in the Earth as liquid "magma" (like lava), before cooling and solidifying underground. Weathering has broken the rock into fragments, which have been worn smooth by thousands of years of water erosion in rivers and seas.
