Caption

Copper and iron mineral deposits. The blues and greens are aresult of hydrothermal deposition. This means that the azurite (blue) and malachite (green) precipitated from a hot, aqueous solution. The reds are of the volcanic host rock, on which the above minerals were deposited. Actual height: 24 centimetres.
