Dakosaurus, computer artwork. Dakosaurus was a marine crocodile that lived in the late Jurassic period, up to around 146 million years ago. It is thought to have grown to over six metres in length, and was the top predator of its time, feeding on sharks and other marine reptiles. Dakosaurus fossils have been found in Argentina and Europe.
