Dinosaur palaeontology. Researchers cleaning dinosaur fossils in a palaeontology laboratory. The fossils arrive in the laboratory encased in a protective plaster cast, and with some of the original surrounding rock still attached. The fossils have to be cleaned thoroughly and treated with stabilising chemicals, then may be sent for classification and further study. Photographed at Esperaza, southern France.
