Fossilised dinosaur egg. Fossilised egg of an Oviraptor sp. dinosaur. This was a small predatory dinosaur which inhabited central Asia between 82- 68 million years ago, in the late Cretaceous period. It had a toothless beak and is thought to have fed mainly on the eggs of other dinosaurs. Specimen discovered in Mongolia.
