Oviraptor dinosaurs. Computer artwork of two Oviraptor dinosaurs about to feed on eggs from a Protoceratops nest. The parent of the eggs is seen at upper centre. Oviraptor was a small bird-like dinosaur that lived in what is now China between around 85 and 70 million years ago. It is thought to have been omnivorous, feeding on plants and seeds as well as other animals and their eggs. It had a relatively large brain, and is thought to have been a quick, intelligent animal.
