Camarasaurus, a plant-eating sauropod of the late Jurassic Period of the Mesozoic Era (approx. This husky dinosaur had distinctive large nasal openings, which functioned to cool the blood. The teeth were forward pointing and chisel-like to feed on fibrous plants, including the low branches of conifers.
