Dinosaur egg fossil. Oviraptor sp. dinosaur egg. This was a small bird-like dinosaur that lived in what is now China in the late Cretaceous epoch (85 to 70 million years ago). It is thought to have been omnivorous, feeding on plants and seeds as well as other animals and their eggs. This egg was found in Henan Province, China.
