Talarurus dinosaur, computer artwork. Talarurus was an armoured dinosaur or ankylosaur. Its heavy protective armour and clubbed tail protected it from attack by predators. It was a herbivore, and about the same size as a hippo. It is thought to have lived in what is now the Gobi Desert of Mongolia in the late Cretaceous period, 98-88 million years ago.
