Fossilised Allosaurus footprint being compared with a man's hand. This Allosaurus footprint was made around 150 million years ago during the Jurassic Period. The Allosaurus was a bipedal carnivorous dinosaur. An average adult measured around 9 metres long and weighed around 4 tonnes.
