Rapeseed flowers (Brassica napus) in a field. Rapeseed is also known as colza or canola. It has bright yellow flowers and produces an oil-rich seed. This oil is used for cooking, lubrication, as a fuel and in the manufacture of soap. The stems and leaves of the plant make an animal fodder.
