Brisbane skyscrapers. View across the Brisbane River, Brisbane, Australia, from the South Bank to the skyscrapers of the city centre. The Victoria Bridge (now called Queen's Bridge) is at left. The tall, black skyscraper seen behind the bridge is the State Law Building (125 metres tall, completed in 1977). The skyscraper at left of centre, with a 30-metre-tall spire on top, is the MLC Centre (112 metres to roof, 142 metres including the spire; completed in 1976). Then, at far right, is 111 George Street: a newer building that is 138 metres tall. It was completed in 1993. The Brisbane River is about 100 metres wide at this point.
