Pollution. Artwork of a dolphin killed by toxic nuclear waste. The waste is in barrels marked with the symbol indicating radioactivity. The dolphin's body is covered in radiation burns. There is also an outline of Europe in brown along its flank. The dumping of nuclear waste at sea is hazardous to all life around it. Fish from areas around dumping sites may become contaminated and still end up being caught for food. Nuclear waste is particularly dangerous as it remains radioactive for thousands of years. There is still no totally safe way of disposing of nuclear waste.
