Warden guarding a sleeping black rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis). The black rhinoceros is an endangered species due to excessive poaching for their horns. It is native to the eastern and central areas of Africa including Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Although this rhino is referred to as a 'black' creature, it is actually more of a grey-white colour in appearance.
