Egyptian burial chamber. Workman viewing the artwork that decorates the passages and burial chambers of an Egyptian tomb. The paintings illustrate ancient Egyptian mummification techniques. They also depict the last judgement, when the souls of the dead are judged by the gods. This tomb is part of the Valley of the Mummies, a six kilometre stretch of tunnels and burial chambers carved into the sandstone of the Bahariya Oasis, Egypt. These tombs date back to around the third century AD during the Roman occupation of Egypt. Photographed in the Western Desert, Egypt.
