Iron Age roundhouse. This is a reconstruction of Iron Age roundhouses at Castell Henllys archaeological site, in Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. The settlement was a hill fort, defended by steep natural slopes. The roundhouses were thought to have been used as living quarters, byres and workshops.
