Bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) in flower. The bluebell, a fragrant member of the lily family, is common to undisturbed open woodland, scrubland and hedges. Its bell-shaped flowers, which may occasionally be white, are often seen carpeting a woodland floor in spring. Photographed in England.
