Rabbits' ears (Haemanthus humilis). This plant derives its name from its pairs of large, hairy, erect leaves, which can grow up to thirty centimeters long. The white flowers seen here will turn pink as they mature and then be followed by orange berries. The plant is found throughout southern Africa. Photographed in Cobham, South Africa.
