DNA is the molecule that contains the genetic instructions for an organism. A clone is a genetically identical copy of an organism. In Edinburgh, Scotland, Ian Wilmut has been developing the cloning of sheep from adult sheep cells. In 1997, Wilmut introduced to the world "Dolly", the first such sheep clone.
