High-security biological laboratory. Researcher puts on an air-proof, fire-proof integral suit, in preparation for work in a high-security (level 4) laboratory. Under the polyethylene chloride suit and helmet (which weigh 10 kilograms) he wears green surgeon's overalls. He receives air through coiled red tubes and speaks through a microphone. A level 4 laboratory is used to conduct highly dangerous biological research, for instance on viruses. The bomb-proof steel laboratory contains air-locks, decontamination rooms, 24-hour security and contamination alarms. Photographed at Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, USA.
