Testing effects of radio waves on blood. Scientist loading blood samples into a waveguide. The samples will be exposed to electromagnetic waves at a frequency of 1800 megahertz. Any changes in the blood will be noted and investigated. There is some concern over the emission of radio waves by household and office appliances. However, conclusive proof of any detrimental health effects has not been found.
