Caption

Millet. View of hulled grains of millet (Panicum miliaceum). Millet is grown throughout North Africa, southern Europe and Asia, as well as in the USA. It is popular as it grows on less fertile land and takes only two to three months to produce its carbohydrate-rich seed. These seeds have had their dry outer covering (husk) removed.
