Chinese cabbage. Knife with sliced chinese cabbage (Brassica sp.). The cabbage, which is grown throughout the world, may be eaten raw or cooked. It is a good source of folic acid. Chinese cabbage is delicate and crisp and will combine with a wide variety of food. Kimchi, the universal Korean pickle, is often made with Chinese cabbage.
