Household boiler controls. This is a gas boiler, which burns natural gas, heating water for use in the kitchen, bathroom and radiators. The on/off switch is at left. To its right are two separate controls for the central heating and hot water, and a temperature reading of 46 degrees Celsius. The pilot light and economy setting (pink) are both on. A control menu is at right, allowing the boiler to be switched on and off automatically at set times. A pressure gauge is at far right. This boiler, a modern type known as a condensing combination boiler, saves on energy and fuel costs. This is a Greenstar 30 He Plus Combi boiler from Worcester, Bosch Group. For a view of the whole boiler, see H130/495.
