Glass shattered by sound. This is a classic demonstration of resonance. When struck, the glass will ring with its natural frequency. If a loud note of this frequency is played at the glass, it will cause it to ring. If the note is played loud and long enough, the vibrations of the ringing will cause the glass to break.
