Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC), Greek philosopher. Known today as the founder of logic, was a teacher of logic and ethics. He studied under Plato in Athens and later tutored the king's son (Alexander the Great). Aristotle was also a naturalist and biologist, and was known to teach lessons in his garden, the Lyceum.
