Glenn T. Seaborg (1912-1999) was awarded the Nobel prize in chemistry for 1951. He was involved in identifying nine transuranium elements and served as chairman of the United States Atomic Energy Commission. In 2001, Seaborgs autobiography, Adventures in the Atomic Age, was published; Library Journal called it a page turner..
