Girl writing with a biodegradable pen. This pen is made from cornstarch plastic. Cornstarch is derived from the starch of maize plants (Zea mays). It is processed into bioplastic for use as food packaging, medical equipment, stationary, plastic carrier bags and many other usages. Cornstarch plastic is biodegradable and is broken down in the soil 10-20 times faster than traditional plastics. It also produces little, if any, toxic chemicals when burned.
Model release available. Property release not required.
