Sunlight through trees. Shafts of sunlight pass through hemlock (Tsuga sp.) and spruce trees (Picea sp.). Both these trees are part of the pine family. Spruce trees are common in Europe, Asia and North America. The hemlock is an evergreen which is native to North America and eastern Asia. Photographed at Olympic Peninsula, Washington, USA.
