Boy using an asthma inhaler to treat his asthma. The five-year-old boy is pumping his aerosol inhaler though an expansion chamber, which provides a better delivery of the bronchodilator drug than using the inhaler on its own. Bronchial asthma causes sufferers to have paroxysmal attacks of branchospasm resulting in severly restricted breathing.
