Lung cancer, gross specimen. Large whitish tumour mass with several other smaller tumours. The whitish tumour is a primary tumour and is located near the hilar region. The hilar region is where the bronchi split into the many bronchioles that spread out throughout the lung. It is a very common site for cancers caused by smoking.
