Low grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Coloured light micrograph (LM) of a section through lymph node lymphoid tissue with follicular B-cell lymphoma, a type of low grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (cancer). The cancerous B-cells, or B-lymphocyte white blood cells (brown cytoplasm), are grouped into a follicle-like cluster. Cell nuclei are stained blue. This low malignancy lymphoma leads to headache, skin ulcers and lymph node enlargement. Treatment is by radiotherapy, anti-cancer drugs or bone marrow transplant. CD20 stained cells. Magnification: x200 at 35mm size. See photo M132/528 for high grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
