Caption

Cancer cells. Polarised light micrograph of healthy and cancerous liver cells. Two cells undergoing division (mitosis) are visible in the centre. The one on the right is a healthy cell, while the one on the left is a cancer cell. The distribution of DNA (blue), actin (red) and microtubules (green), is shown. The cancer has spread to the liver, a process known as metastasis. Secondary liver cancer is incurable, but life can be prolonged with anti-cancer drugs.
