Caption

Glioblastoma cells, computer model. The model is based on fluorescent light microscopy, where fluorescent dyes were used to highlight cellular structures and proteins: cell nuclei (blue), actin (green), alpha-synuclein (red). Glioblastomas are a type of brain cancer arising from glial cells (one of the support tissues found in the brain). Alpha-synuclein is a protein found in neural tissues.
