Benign tumour on the skin of a 56-year-old man. This is a benign (non-cancerous) fibrous histiocytoma, a painless pigmented firm mass. It contains macrophages and histiocytes, cells of the body's immune system, and is often found on the skin of the extremities. Treatment is with surgical removal.
