Intertrigo rash on the back of a 4 month old baby's neck. Intertrigo is caused by warm moist folds of skin repeatedly rubbing together. The affected area may become blistered or infected with bacteria or fungi. Intertrigo is a common condition in babies and is treated with nappy cream and keeping the affected area clean and dry.
