Caption

Female overflow urinary incontinence. Computer artwork of a section through the pelvis of a woman with urinary incontinence. The bladder is at centre right and is full of urine (yellow). At centre is the uterus (womb) and at centre left is the rectum. Incontinence is an incontrollable involuntary passing of urine. It is caused by a weakening of the muscles around the bladder and urethra, the tube urine passes through from the bladder. This is overflow incontinence, where the pressure from a full bladder leads to urine leaking from the urethra.
