This coronal (from the front) MRI image through the orbits (where the eyes are located) shows asymmetric enhancement (from contrast-dye) of the right optic nerve (on your left). This is the rounded bright object in the centre of the orbit. Optic neuritis is common in patients with multiple sclerosis and can precede the diagnosis of MS.
