Application of Lassar's paste, officially known as Zinc and Salicylic Acid paste, BP, being applied to a patient with severe psoriasis. Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease in which scaly, red, itchy patches develop on the body. The cause is unknown, although in some cases it is associated with anxiety. There is no cure only palliative treatment with lotions & ointments.
