Garden border in winter. Dogwood (Cornus alba, red stems, left) ash (Fraxinus 'Jaspidea', pale bark, left) and willow (Salix alba vitellina 'Britzensis', orange stems, right). These plants are grown for their attractive young stems which are particulary evident in winter. The plants below the dogwood are Euonymus 'Emerald Gaiety' and 'Dart's Blanket'.
