This occupational therapy is aimed at ensuring that the girl can lead as normal a life as possible. Cerebral palsy is a developmental abnormality caused by damage to the brain of a baby during late pregnancy, childbirth or early childhood. It can result in anything from slight weakness and a lack of limb coordination to complete paralysis.
