Yarrow. View of the flowering heads and leaves of yarrow (Achillea millefolium). Yarrow is a medicinal plant used primarily for its perspiration-inducing effects. This has led to it being used to reduce fevers; tea made from the plant being drunk for this purpose. It also aids digestion. When applied to wounds it promotes the formation of scar tissue. Its use as a cure for baldness has not been backed up by science.
