Cannabis leaves. Leaves of the herb hemp (Cannabis sativa), the source of the illegal psychoactive drug marijuana. It is also cultivated for its tough fibres, which are used in textiles. It is a native of Central Asia but is now found throughout the world. Despite medicinal applications, its use as a drug is illegal in most countries and a licence is therefore required for its cultivation.
